Georgia State 2023
May 22-23, 2023: Lady Raiders had an impressive outing at the 2023 Georgia State tournament at Sunset Country Club in Moultrie, Georgia. Rain and weather delays did not stop the team from sinking birdies. The Lady Raiders had their personal best team score of +10. Junior Saanvi Venkatesh was the low medalist for the team with a score of 75 scoring +3 . Sophmore Annika scored 76. Senior Tatum Thompson scored 79. Olivia Packer (Jr.) and Emily Feste (Sr.) rounded off the playing team. The tournament was cut short to 18 holes due to severe weather. Lady Raiders finished second in state.
Area Tournament 2023
April 17, 2023: The 2023 Area Tournament was held at The Providence Club in Monroe, Georgia. The Lady Raiders won the 2023 Area tournament. Senior Tatum Thompson was the low medalist with a score of 72. Sophmore Annika scored 73. Saanvi Venkatesh (Jr.) scored 79. Olivia Packer (Jr.) and Emily Feste (Sr.) rounded off the playing team.
Cobb County Invitational 2023
Mar 2023: New Coach, New Golf season 2023. The Lady Raiders kept their consecutive winning streak in the Cobb County Golf Championship since the tournament began. The Lady Raiders had their personal best team score of +6, 55 strokes ahead of the second place team. Senior Tatum Thompson was the low medalist with a score of 71 scoring 2 under par on day 2 for a score of 33. Saanvi Venkatesh (Jr.) scored 73 and Annika(So.) scored 75. Olivia Packer (Jr.) rounded off the playing team. The Lady Raiders all finished in the top 4 as inidividuals in a field of over 50 girls. Way to start the season! Looking forward to the Area tournament. Congrats Lady Raiders!
Invitation to play in 2022 High School Nationals
The Lady Raiders gladly accepted the prestigious invite to play in the National Championship at Pinehurt. Congratulations to the team!
Second in STATE 2022
Shout out to the Lady Raiders for an impressive 2nd place finish in the 7A State Championship. 20 strokes over for a Team score of 452!!! 52 strokes ahead of the 2nd place team. The team broke all previous records for team and individual performances in the history of the program. Saanvi Venkatesh (SO) led day 1 with an impressive 73. On day 2, Annika Gomeyac (FR) scored a fluent 70. Tatum Thompson (JR) scored 75 on day 1. Olivia Packer (SO) and Captain Kat Euston (SR) rounded out the 2022 Lady Raider team.
Saanvi Venkatesh and Annika Gomeyac also made the 7A All State Golf Team 2022. Congrats to the Lady Raiders!
Area Champions 2022
The Lady Raiders did it again, winning the Area tournament with the top 4 low scores going to Walton players. The team shot 229 beating their score of 242 at Monroe Country Club in the area tournament in 2021. Saanvi Venkatesh was the low medalist with a score of 74. Annika Gomeyac 77, Tatum Thompson 78, Kat Euston 86. Livvy Packer and Diana Ranke rounded out the team. Off to State we go!!!!!!!

Congratulations to the Lady Raiders for keeping the streak alive to win the Cobb County Golf Championship since the tournament began. The Lady Raiders had a team score of +16, 29 strokes ahead of the second place team. Sophomore Saanvi Venkatesh was the low medalist with a score of 73. The lady Raiders all finished in the top 6 as inidividuals in a field of over 50 girls. Way to bring home the hardware again!
Georgia PGA Invitational 2022
March 15 2022: Congratulations to the Lady Raiders for winning the PGA Esther Cannizzo Girls High School Invitational at Bentwater Golf Club! The tournament was played on March 14 and 15th 2022 and was reduced to 27 holes due to tough weather conditions. Junior Tatum Thompson and freshman Annika Gomeyac tied for 3rd in the individual competition, each with 5 over, Saanvi Venkatesh tied for 5th with 9 over par and Senior Kat Euston rounded out this amazing team
TOP THREE in STATE 2021
Walton Lady Raiders enjoyed their best season ever! FIVE 1st Place Championships and THREE 3rd Place finishes, including the Region 7A State Championship, their best finish at State since 2014.
The team experienced individual and team records, as well as record breaking match-play wins! The tournament team included Senior and Captain McKensey Kaseta, Junior Kat Euston, Sophomore Tatum Thompson and Freshman Saanvi Venkatesh.

Monday, Apr 19- Walton Lady Raiders emerged from the Covid Pandemic with a vengeance in the competitive world of High School Golf by winning the Area 2 Girls Golf Tournament by 51 strokes with a score of 242 ! The Lady Raiders were lead by Saanvi Venkatesh [Freshman] with a tournament low 79, Tatum Thompson [Soph.] 81, Mckensey Kaseta [Sr.] 82, Kat Euston [Jr.] 85 . The Ladies were so dominate that their 4 scores were the lowest of the complete tournament . The Lady Raiders are now headed to Moultrie to compete for the Georgia High School Championship for the 13th year in a row ! Harrison High School finished a distant second at 293
2021 Brookwood Invitational
Saturday, Mar 27th - Walton Lady Raiders bring home the hardware AGAIN shooting a 225 at the Brookwood Invitational at Summit Chase CC. This is 13 strokes better than their record 238 shot last week at the Lady Rambler Tournament in Lafayette, GA. Captain Mac Kaseta (Sr) missed a hole in one by inches, Kat Euston (Jr) drove the green on a par 4. Tatum Thompson (So) and Saanvi Venkatesh (Fr) sank some killer putts. Overall, an amazing team effort in this shamble format tournament. The Lady Raiders were 28 strokes ahead of the second place team, the Walker school. Look out State Championship, here we come!!!!!
